Covers one trip, anywhere in the world. Great for single trips from 1 day to 365 days for holidays, study or work. 

Our single trip options are applicable to all our plans (Gold, Silver, Essential and Long Stay see link to the benefits table) and provide cover for a single return trip from your home country for persons of up to 95 years of age . Single trip policies can be issued up to 12 months before your dates of travel. The cancellation section is effective from the date the policy is paid for and issued so it’s important that you take out an insurance policy as soon as you book your trip if you want protection for cancellation. The benefit limits of the policy apply to each insured person.
All other sections of the policy start when you begin your direct outward journey in connection with your trip and end when you complete your return journey and get back home (or if you needed assistance when we bring you back home). Your trip must take place during the period of insurance you have chosen. If you have not returned home by the time your policy expires (other than on medical grounds where our 24 hour service has been contacted and approved your extended stay) all coverage under the policy will stop.  

If you need to be repatriated on medical grounds and need further treatment when home our 24 hour emergency service will deliver you to a suitable medical facility working in conjunction with your usual registered medical practitioner or health service provider. Once you have been safely delivered to this medical facility your travel insurance coverage will stop. We do not pay for medical treatment costs in your home country as this is travel insurance not health insurance

If you travel more than once a year our great value AMT policies cover an entire year’s worth of trips.

Our AMT options are applicable to our Gold, Silver and Essential plans (see link to the benefits table) and provide cover for multiple return trips from your home country for persons of up to 95 years of age. AMT policies can be issued up to 90 days in advance of the  policy start date however it is important to note that the cancellation section is effective from the date the policy starts not the date it is issued. The cause of the claim must have happened during the policy period (year). 

During the year of your policy you can travel as often as you like. When you buy your policy you will be given a choice of maximum trip durations of either 31 days, 45 days, 60 days and 90 days. This maximum trip duration is the maximum amount of time you can stay away on any one trip, but you can have as many trips as you like during the year.  Your trip must take place during the period of insurance you have chosen and not exceed the trip limit you have chosen. If you have not returned home within your trip duration limit or by the time your policy expires (other than on medical grounds where our 24 hour service has been contacted and approved your extended stay) all coverage under the policy will stop. The benefit limits of the policy apply to each insured person.

Every insured trip must start and end in your chosen home country in the EU. If during the year you change your home address or home country please make sure you notify s and we make the necessary changes to your policy.

 If you are travelling for more than 31 days then our long stay insurance is right for you with great options for Backpackers, Students and Working Abroad. 

Our Long Stay Insurance is a single trip option designed for travellers who will spnd more than 90 days away from home (Long Stay see link to the benefits table) and provide cover for a single return trip from your home country for persons of up to 64 years of age . Single trip long stay policies can be issued up to 12 months before your dates of travel and can cover trips up to 12 months duration. The cancellation section is effective from the date the policy is paid for and issued so it’s important that you take out an insurance policy as soon as you book your trip if you want protection for cancellation. The benefit limits of the policy apply to each insured person.

All other sections of the policy start when you begin your direct outward journey in connection with your trip and end when you complete your return journey and get back home (or if you needed assistance when we bring you back home). Your trip must take place during the period of insurance you have chosen. Our study abroad option as well as covering course fees also allows the insured person to return home up to three times during the academic year to visit family.

Once you have been safely delivered to this medical facility your travel insurance coverage will stop. We do not pay for medical treatment costs in your home country as this is travel insurance not health insurance, and similarly if overseas treatment can be reasonably delayed until we arrange for you to come home the we have the right to bring you home for ongoing and long term treatment.

Our on line travel plans do include cover for groups and specialist business travel but you may find that our underwriting team can tailor a better solution for you and save you money. 

Groups 

There is no limit to how many people you can add to any of our policy option, but if you are a group of 10 or more people travelling together our specialist underwriting team may be able to provide you with a great value option tailored to your group needs.
